More about Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital
Comprehensive, high-quality services for people with physical disabilities are expertly provided by Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital. This
modern, state of the art hospital is a 60-bed facility combining traditional therapy with advanced technology.
The hospital features Independence Square, which recreates familiar community settings such as a grocery, bank, and automobile so patients can re-learn functional skills for daily tasks such as driving a car, shopping, or banking.
Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital is managed by Frazier Rehab Institute and is owned by Frazier in partnership with
Clark Memorial Hospital and
Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health
Services. This unique, three-way partnership brings together physicians and specialists from
all medical areas related to
rehabilitation, offering patients the full spectrum of rehab care. The partnership also eliminates duplication of services and allows the three local health care providers to work in partnership to deliver much needed
rehab care in their community. The hospital opened in 1994.
