Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Coding Certificate required. ICD9-CM and CPT-4 coding, anatomy
and physiology, medical terminology and strong knowledge of PPS.

Prior experience in a therapy setting and familiarity with medical terminology and insurance restrictions preferred.
Computer skills, knowledge of Word and Excel programs with typing of 30 words per minute. Excellent verbal communication
skills required for customer service responsibilities to include communication with patients, physicians, insurance
companies and insurance case managers.

Minimum of 2 years scheduling/clerical and customer service experience in a medical setting required.
Team member should be familiar with medical terminology, insurance requirements for therapy services to include knowledge
of precertifications, referrals, prior authorization process for Medicaid and general understanding of Medicare requirements
for therapy. Knowledge of Word and Excel programs with typing of 40-50 words per minute. Excellent verbal communication
skills required.
