New Albany, IN . . . Do you wonder if your child is developing
normally when it comes to crawling, walking, running and playing? Do
you worry that your child may not be keeping up with their peers on
the playground? Are they clumsy? Do you find it hard to motivate
your child to be active in today’s video game world?
Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital presents an interactive seminar for
parents interested in learning about the normal development of
children, from birth to 8-years-old. The seminar will allow
participants to ask questions specific to their child and get
professional advice from physical therapists who work with special
needs children.
The course allows the new parent to learn the developmental
milestones that their child will experience. For parents who wonder
if their child would benefit from therapy services, this course
provides an opportunity to ask specific questions.
Finally, the course will discuss the importance of activity and
overall fitness for both the normally developing child and the child
with special needs. Despite disabilities, children can keep active
to promote better overall health.
