Rehab Hospital Hosting Women's Health Fair
New Albany, IN -
Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital (SIRH) will host a Women's Health
Fair on Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. SIRH is located
at 3104 Blackiston Boulevard in New Albany, Indiana.
The Women's Health Fair
will offer free screenings and presentations for women of all ages.
The screenings will include blood pressure, body fat, body mass
index, flexibility, grip strength and waist to hip ratio. There will
also be door prizes and give-aways throughout the morning including
two terry cloth robes. The health presentations will take place
every 30 minutes throughout the event. The schedule of presentations
is:
9:00 a.m. - The Female Athlete Triad
9:30 a.m. - Bone Health and Calcium Intake
10:00 a.m. - Pain During Pregnancy
10:30 a.m. - Falls Prevention
11:00 a.m. - Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
11:30 a.m. - Eating Healthy During the Holidays
